Intel International Science and Engineering Fair

The Intel International Science and Engineering Fair, a program of Society for Science & the Public, is the world’s largest international pre-college science competition. Through a global network of local, regional and national science fairs, top students are selected from millions, all who have demonstrated their knowledge of science and engineering to further their understanding of the world and improve the way we work and live.

International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF)

May 14-19, 2023
Dallas, Texas, USA

Since 1950, Society for Science & the Public has provided an international stage for the world’s best and brightest young scientists through its International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), the world’s premier STEM competition.

Every year, tens of millions of students compete in science fairs around the globe but only about 1,800 earn the right to compete for the nearly $5 million in awards bestowed each May at ISEF.

Airport Design Challenge
Sponsored by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)

The Airport Design Challenge (ADC), sponsored by the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math Aviation and Space Education (STEM AVSED) Program at FAA, is an interactive learning and collaboration opportunity for students in grades K-12. Participating students will design virtual airports in Minecraft based on guidance from FAA aerospace and engineering experts. The challenge offers first-hand experience in an aviation-related application of STEM concepts and helps students apply their academic knowledge and skills to professional simulations.
