In February 2018, The Penn State Chapter of the Vertical Flight Society organized a trip to Boeing Engineers Week in Ridley Park, PA. Undergraduate and graduate students had the opportunity to discuss their work and research with Boeing managers and engineers. In addition, students from local high schools learned about the Penn State MAV (Micro-Air Vehicle) design challenge team and the undergraduate helicopter design team.
